Day 22: A song that moves you forward

I love movies from the early 90's. Clueless, Reality Bites, Singles, Party Girl, The Craft, and Empire Records - which incidentally where I first heard of today's song challenge pick. It was featured in the closing scene of the movie - when the employees were dancing on the rooftop after a crazy day. The song was released back in 80's - which just one of its many ironies.

It's a melancholy song with an optimistic vibe to it, which makes you wonder if it's meant to encourage or if it's sardonic. Is it really the day that your life will change or is it mocking you? 

Who knows? Either way, this song inspires me.
