AnimeIowa Convention

Last month I attended the AnimeIowa Con in Des Moines. Here are some (not so great) photos/videos I took during the second day of the convention (Saturday, July 13). 

I am still uncomfortable taking random people's photos, especially asking for their permission. I never know how to properly ask, and it feels like I am inconveniencing them. (Also, I believe that you should ALWAYS ask for consent when taking other people's photos.) This is the same whether it's a public event or when I'm out at the clubs. And for that reason, I loathe taking photos. But I am practicing my approach and pushing my comfort level so that I can be ready to take photos when I go to Japan this fall.
