I Went Snowboarding... IRL

I went snowboarding on New Year's Eve (IRL, not just on The Sims). It has been years since the last time I went skiing or snowboarding. I was nervous and I did not want to look like an idiot on the slopes. 

 

The new Snowy Escape expansion pack for The Sims 4 comes with activities such as skiing and snowboarding. It's by far my favorite, aesthetically speaking - not gameplay-wise, I just like the Japanese elements in the game, and as you know, I love Japan.

I wiped out bad and I'm still feeling it days later. I feel some back spasms right now, not painful but more uncomfortable. I think I might have sprained my pinky on my right hand as well. It was pretty embarrassing, but I think I'll give it a go again. 

The nearest winter sports park is about 45 minutes away from me, and it is usually very busy - not ideal with COVID-19 still hanging around. The good thing is that people on the slopes are masked-up when on the snow. It's the rental lodge and the food court chalet that one should be careful of.
